About the Program
TENG Inc. implements a comprehensive Tank Integrity Management program that includes budget planning; scheduling tank outages; and scoping, detailing and executing repairs and upgrades. This program involves an assessment by a qualified engineer familiar with tank design and stress analyses to define acceptable levels of structural, operational and safety integrities that will extend the life of the storage tank.
Storage tanks are designed to contain liquids or compressed gases that may be highly toxic or flammable. Tank inspection at regular intervals is vital to ensure deterioration detection at an early stage and help to identify the repairs required before the point where leakage or other failures occur, causing product loss or environmental contamination.
TENG has four Professional Engineers who are qualified API 653 Inspectors.
